Great news for the fans of DJ Hamunaptra! At this moment, Hamunaptra is spending every spare minute in his studio to finish the last tracks for his debut album on Enzyme records. The album will be released as a double vinyl pack on Enzyme records after this summer. Hamunaptra produced several tracks for Enzyme records in the past, but this album marks his first solo release on the Enzyme main label.
When you listen to the tracks on this album you will discover the different styles from this Rotterdam based producer. Hamunaptra’s tracks are dark, rough and industrial but they all have that effective Rotterdam flavour which is well known all over the world. Some tracks are deep and dark while others are straight on effective party tracks, without becoming to poppy. His music is a perfect blend of screaming synths, mysterious vocals and rough distorted kick drums.
Of course Hamunaptra asked some respected Enzyme colleagues to work on some tracks for his album. You will find some unexpected collaborations which have resulted in some great original tracks. The track list will be announced on this website as soon as the album is in production.
Recently our interviewer had a very long conversation with Hamunaptra. They have had a chat about the tracks on this album and how this album came together. The complete interview will soon be published on this website as some questions where still left unanswered at the time of this writing.
Since the work for this album is still in progress there is no definitive release date yet. We will keep you posted on the developments regarding this album.
